Moving Towards Greener UPS Business Practices

Big Blue Ocean Cleanup Partnership

We’re proud to announce that we have recently joined the Big Blue Ocean Cleanup team! Adept Power is now a member of the Ocean Protection Project, making a positive change towards cleaner oceans. Our financial contribution means we are helping towards keeping oceans clean, protecting vulnerable marine wildlife and supporting the development of innovative technologies to keep our oceans clean and safe for future generations.

Our First Fully Electric Vehicle

We have given ourselves the target of reducing our average fleet CO2 emissions to below 80 (g/km) and for all company cars and commercial vehicles to be fully electric or plug-in hybrid by 2025. Today, we made a big step towards this goal and ordered our first fully-electric vehicle to our fleet!

The small but mighty Renault Zoe electric van joins our fleet to help us keep our DC Specialist out on the road helping customers, whilst staying true to our pledge to lower our CO2 emissions. The UK’s only 100% electric car-derived van may not seem like a traditional van in size, but the generous rear cargo space is in fact more than enough to transport our tools and testing kit across the country.

We look forward to adding more hybrid and electric vehicles to our fleet in time, and hope that this move encourages other businesses to do the same.
